Over two days, we’ll guide you through a complete journey from the ankles to the wrists, building a strong, flexible, and aware foundation for your backbends.

BUILD YOUR FOUNDATION // FEET TO HIPS
In this workshop, we focus on building a strong and flexible foundation for backbends, working from the ankles up to the hips. Through targeted exercises, we strengthen the hamstrings, open the front of the hips, and cultivate stability and mobility throughout the lower body. By creating this balanced base, you’ll move into backbends with greater ease, safety, and confidence.

STRENGTH & OPENING // HIPS TO WRISTS
This session takes the backbend practice from the hips all the way up to the wrists, emphasizing back extension, shoulder mobility, and wrist flexibility. We’ll explore techniques to open the chest, strengthen the shoulders, and improve wrist comfort, all while integrating mindful breathing and focused gaze points. By connecting movement with breath, this workshop helps you move into backbends with greater control, ease, and awareness
By the end of this two-day workshop, our ultimate goal is to help you find space in your backbends using your own body’s awareness and anatomy, combined with the drills and practices we guide you through. This foundation allows you to continue exploring and challenging yourself in a playful, safe way, deepening your backbends and exploring drops with confidence and ease.
