Ashtanga Yoga is a dynamic, flowing style of yoga built around a set sequence of postures that link breath and movement in a moving meditation.
In a Mysore-style class, each student practices the sequence at their own pace, with individual guidance and support from Emily. This unique approach makes the practice accessible to both beginners and experienced students alike—you don’t need to memorize everything before you start, as I will guide you step by step. Over time, the sequence becomes a deeply personal, meditative ritual that cultivates strength, focus, and inner stillness.
Mysore practice is often described as magical, offering space to grow in your own rhythm while feeling held in the energy of the group.
